1st KWeb Fest - The only WEB FEST in Northeast Asia

FESTIVAL DATES: Thursday, July 30 and Friday, July 31  - 2015

SUBMISSIONS:  Closed
SCREENINGS: KWebFest will screen Korean series in addition to more than 70 international web series from all around the world focusing on diverse topics, geographies and minority groups.
LOCATION:  The K Hotel, Yangjaedong, Seoul, South Korea
Visitors can get a glimpse of web series market trends around the world by attending the various conferences and seminars offered.
SPECIAL PROJECT:  KWebfest is holding a contest designed to discover, award and invest in an outstanding Korean web series.
Given the exciting rise of web series both in Korea and the rest of the world and the spin off advantages these provide, KWebfest will also create networking opportunities and events to directly connect foreign buyers with Korean content producers.

FESTIVAL DATES:  Thursday, April 30 ~ Saturday, May 9, 2015, for 10 days
SCREENINGS-  200 films from 47 countries (158 features, 42 shorts)
     World Premiere- 45 films (25 features, 20shorts)
     International Premiere - 5 films (5 features)
     Asian Premiere - 82 films (66 features, 16 shorts)
FESTIVAL VENUES - Total of 6 theaters and 17 screens
JEONJU CINEMA PROJECT:
All 3 films from newly named ‘Jeonju Cinema Project’ will be fully invested, produced, and distributed by Jeonju IFF. 
This means that Jeonju IFF is not just the platform, but tries to take on the overall duties of producing and distributing great movies.
SPECIAL FOCUS:
The nature of Jeonju IFF programs has been to discover new and creative authors, and take out and illuminate unknown movies from dark side. 
With this year focusing on the same purpose, ‘International Competition’ collected works of remarkable rookie directors, who are sure to be the future author.
